ABOUT JOSEPH DEMAREE:
Joseph Demaree is an artist from San Jose CA. He has been playing music under his birth name since 2012. He has released many albums (solo, acoustic, electric & accompanied). His current band “Palace of Fine Arts” have started to play out regularly in the Bay Area of CA. They are currently recording a new album titled “Along the Way”.

Joe’s music has been compared to Leonard Cohen, Pink Floyd & The Brian Johnstown Massacre. Demaree was brought up on the DIY, Punk Rock scene of the 1990’s and continues to write, record and release most of his own material.

With a year back in his hometown of San Jose CA after living in Portugal for two years, Joseph will be touring solo to Oregon and back (Aug 24 - Sep 14 2023). A friend is commissioning Joe to paint landscapes for their family’s home and neighbors in Salem OR.
Joe will have an electric guitar and projections with him while conjuring some deep bluesy rock notes, maybe taring it apart in a distorted snarl. The psychedelic blues rock, the Hawaiian slack key and Western California roots, just might come alive and dance with us.
